Home and Structural Modifications

Patient Handling’s qualified technicians can specify, supply and install assistive technology equipment into the home environment. In most cases, an Occupational Therapist will undertake an assessment in your home. We will then work alongside you and your Occupational Therapist to ensure your home is safe, secure and in line with your needs.

Modifications range from something as simple as fitting grab-rails in a bathroom to more complex home modifications such as installing a ceiling hoist throughout a home or facility.

We can provide a Structural Engineers Report when making structural changes to the home. Patient Handling is an approved NDIS provider to undertake home modifications and installations for NDIS participants.
