Its three-layer foam construction delivers a balanced combination of support, durability and pressure redistribution, making it suitable for a range of care settings.
The upper layer gently contours to the body to promote even weight distribution and reduce pressure points. Beneath this, a supportive foam layer works to enhance stability and assist with consistent pressure management, particularly for users with limited mobility or increased skin sensitivity.
A specialised foot zone and tapered heel section help reduce pressure in high-risk areas, supporting skin integrity and overall comfort during extended use.
The mattress is encased in a durable, multi-stretch polyurethane-coated cover that is latex-free and designed to reduce shear and friction. The cover is vapour permeable, water-resistant, fire-retardant and treated to support infection control, making it suitable for healthcare environments.
A firm core layer provides structural strength and helps maintain the mattress shape over time, ensuring long-term durability. The hinged design (six hinges in the King Single model) allows compatibility with profiling beds for ease of positioning and adjustment.
