The Patient Handling Bed Sensor Alarm is an easy way to monitor patients who are at risk of injuring themselves if unassisted when walking or have a tendency to wander unsupervised. The product works by sounding an alarm when a patient sits up in bed.  The unit can also be plugged into an existing Nurse Call System and set up so the alarm does not sound but the staff are still alerted.  The unit is powered by a 6V DC adapter (Included) and can be fitted with 3 AA batteries for back up (Not included)

There is a selection of settings to choose a delay.  This allows the patient to move position in bed without triggering the alert.

1. Instant alarm
2. 1-second delay
3. 2-second delay

Additionally, there are settings for the tone and volume as well as a mute setting for when the alarm is to sound only at the Nurse Call Station and not in the patient’s room.

This Bed Sensor Alarm is ideal for patients with dementia or poor balance.

Delivery & Returns

Patient Handling uses a range of delivery services which offers our customers the best service and the lowest cost. We use couriers such as Star Track and Direct Freight along with Australia Post. Shipping costs will be calculated based on weight and shipped as soon as possible.

Returns And Refund Policy

Should you wish to return a product please email or phone us within 14 days from the date your order was shipped. In accordance with the Department of Fair Trading we are not required to accept return of an item due to change of mind or incorrect choice however we assess each request on a case by case scenario.

If we choose to accept return of the item a restocking fee of 20% of the item price may be applied. The goods must be unused, undamaged and in perfect condition. The original postage price will not be refunded.
