The Chair Pad Alarm is designed so that if the user should raise themselves off the padded alarm situated on the seat; the carer will be alerted instantaneously. The Chair Pad Alarm is suitable for users who are at risk of injuring or endangering themselves by wandering unsupervised. It is ideal for those with dementia and/ or poor balance.  The Patient Handling Chair Pad Alarm is designed to aid both users and carers.

The Chair Pad Alarm can also be plugged into an existing nurse call system.

There is a selection of settings to choose a delay. This allows the patient to move position on the chair without triggering an alert.

Alarm Settings

2. 1 second delay
3. 2 second delay

Additionally, there are settings for the tone and volume as well as a mute setting for when the alarm is to sound only at the Nurse Call Station and not in the patient’s room.

The unit is power by a 6V DC adapter (Incl) and can be fitted with 3 AA batteries for back up.

Should you wish to return a product please email or phone us within 14 days from the date your order was shipped. In accordance with the Department of Fair Trading we are not required to accept return of an item due to change of mind or incorrect choice however we assess each request on a case by case scenario.

If we choose to accept return of the item a restocking fee of 20% of the item price may be applied. The goods must be unused, undamaged and in perfect condition. The original postage price will not be refunded.
